Review: Canvas Print
So, I got my canvas print in the post today from MCanvasPrints.co.uk, and it was lovely. Not having had a canvas print done before, and not having been impressed from the one’s that I had seen up until this momentous day, I was very pleasantly surprised. A quality canvas print, and Kim Jung-Un announced as successor to our Dear Leader; Thursday 30th September will go down as one of the more memorable days in history. AND I had some cheesecake at lunch. Was a little dry unfortunately. MCanvasPrints.co.uk did not provide the cheesecake sadly. I’m sure the dryness issue with the said cheesecake would have been avoided if so.
Anyway, the canvas. It was from MCanvasPrints.co.uk, did I mention that? Yea, so, I went for the 18 x 12″ option, which seemed sensible – and then chose the style of how it is wrapped – I decided to leave the edge of the canvas as white. Well, I say I decided these things, which is only half-true. As I was struggling slightly with dimensions, as my photo was a more elongated shape than the norm, MCanvasPrints.co.uk talked me through the process and what would work in a clear, concise and friendly manner. They really did.
…And I am rather happy with the outcome. I really am. The print quality itself is grand, the framing perfect, lovely stuff. Here is the photo that I used for the canvas from MCanvasPrints.co.uk:
It’s of Waterloo Underground, the Northern Line if you must know. North Bound. Seemed an apt subject given the current round of tube strikes…
Anyway, the turnaround time for the prints were also pretty fast as well from MCanvasPrints.co.uk. They provide many other dimensions, types, flavours and shapes – up to 36 x 72″ in fact. That’s massive, bigger than some people I’d say. So, to sum up I recommend heartily.
